In a game against the Chicago Cubs, Rockies’ starter Brett Anderson walked off Coors Field with back pain Tuesday because of back spasms. He’s likely headed for the disabled list.
Anderson threw one strike to Arismendy Alcantara to start the fourth inning he immediately locked up. After leaving the game, Anderson immediately walked to the clubhouse. He was not available after the game.

Prior to the injury, Anderson allowed just one hit in three innings — an infield single to Justin Ruggiano in the second that glanced off Anderson’s glove into left field. Anderson was had just 33 pitches with 25 fr strikes.
In the second inning, Anderson hit a line-drive double to right field — his second career hit.
