David Spade
Comedian David Spade, 43, was rushed to hospital on Sunday (January 6, 2008) after he collapsed at a gym. Spade was working out in a Los Angeles gym when he collapsed and required urgent medical attention.
Spade’s publicist says, “David has been fighting severe bronchitis and a sinus infection over the past week, and was on the road for three gigs during his illness.” A possible adverse reaction to antibiotics has also been reported. Spade got an I.V. at the hospital and was sent home to rest.
Rumors spread that he had a heart attack. Not true. He’s resting and getting better.
