Modified Lat Pulldown for Brachioradialis Pain

Advised Greg (45 y/o male) with pain in the area of the brachioradialis muscle about limiting lat pulldown to lower range of motion so there is less force transmission shift from lat to brachioradialis.

On a lat pulldown, intially the brachioradialis action is at a difficult angle because the line of pull of the contraction force of the brachioradialis is almost parallel to the radius, ulna and humerus while the action intent is to flex each elbow with the biceps brachii, brachialis, pronator teres and pronator quadratus while the lats, teres major and long head of the triceps extend and adduct each shoulder joint.

He told me pain rated at 9 (1-10 scale, 10 = severe) went down to 5 on next workout and to 1 on the second workout.
