Diets

Diets work when they are followed, but the forbidden nature of many programs makes it psychologically hard to follow. Many diets are not really designed for the long term. You can take off the pounds, but eventually you will go back to behavior that will put the pounds back on.

Successful diets are really not diets in the restrictive sense, but are balanced behavior programs that coordinate healthy eating with exercise and other lifestyle behavior.
